Fr Jeremiah (Jerry) Fitzpatrick OCD has passed away this morning (Sunday 19th May 2019) peacefully at the Carmelite Retreat Centre, Termonbacca Derry.
Fr Jerry is predeceased by his brother John. Deeply regretted by his sister, Peg, brothers Tony, Denis, Aidan and Cole, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family, his Carmelite brothers and sisters and his many friends.
His remains will be reposing at Carmelite Priory, Termonbacca on Wednesday, May 22nd from 2.00pm.
Removal for Requiem Mass in Long Tower Church on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:30am followed by removal to St Teresa's Church, Clarendon Street, Dublin.
Requiem Mass at St Teresa's on Friday, May 24th at 11.00am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
