A Novena of Holy Hours for Vocations Across the Diocese

Nine evenings of prayer across the Diocese of Derry in preparation for Pentecost Sunday.

In preparation for Pentecost Sunday on 24th May, parishes across the Diocese of Derry will host a 9 Day Novena of Holy Hours for Vocations from Thursday 14 – Friday 22 May. These gatherings are an opportunity to pray for vocations to the diocesan priesthood, for those discerning their future, and for a renewed openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church. All are welcome to attend.

Thursday 14 May
St John's Church, Coleraine, 6:00pm.

Friday 15 May
St Michael's Church, Urris, Co Donegal, 4:00pm.

Saturday 16 May
St Columb's Church, Waterside, Derry, 8:00pm.

Sunday 17 May
Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, Derry, 7:00pm.

Monday 18 May
St Mary's Church, Melmount, 8:00pm.

Tuesday 19 May
St Oliver Plunkett's Church, Clady, 7:00pm.

Wednesday 20 May
St Mary's Church, Coolcalm (Desertmartin), 7:00pm.

Thursday 21 May
St Pius X Church, Moville, 7.30pm.

Friday 22 May
Christ the King Church, Omagh, 7:00pm.

Whether you are praying for vocations, discerning your future, or simply seeking quiet prayer before Pentecost, you are warmly invited to attend the holy hour. 

Somewhere in our diocese, a young man is listening for God's voice.

Please continue to pray for vocations to the diocesan priesthood, and for those discerning the path God is calling them to follow.
